Luzmo’s licensing model works with three main plans that offer different levels of functionality and usage limits. All plans consist of a fixed fee and an optional variable fee in case your usage exceeds the plan limits of your then current active plan. You can find more info about our plans on our website.
This consumption-based price model scales with your needs and supports your growth with decreasing prices per usage parameter at higher volumes. Furthermore, it only counts users that actually interact with embedded dashboards or the dashboard editor and doesn’t charge you for hypothetical usage.
We try to make this model as fair and transparent as possible. Of course, not all use cases fit the box. Since we appreciate all kinds of businesses, we also offer options for use cases that do not fit this model. Please reach out to hello@luzmo.com or your personal point of contact.
A monthly active viewer (MAV) is any identifiable Embedded viewer or Luzmo user of viewer type that has viewed or interacted with an (embedded) dashboard at least once in the current month cycle. We do not count hypothetical usage. Only users that actually use the dashboards are counted.
A monthly active designers (MAD) is any identifiable Embedded designer or Luzmo user of designer (or owner) type that interacted with a dashboard in the dashboard editor at least once in the then current month cycle. We do not count hypothetical usage. Only designers that actually made a modification to a dashboard are counted.
Acceleration storage is counted in Gigabytes and is only the data that is stored in our Acceleration Storage Engine. This is the actual data you build your dashboards on and can be uploaded to Luzmo via Manual upload, API push or via the webservice connectors. Acceleration storage does NOT include all metadata and information such as your users or dashboard definitions. In case you connect your own database, by default no data is ever copied or stored on the Acceleration storage and thus not required for your use case.
The fixed license fee of each of the different licenses.
The variable fee that is added to the bill at the end of the month or quarter if usage surpasses the limits of the then current active license.
Of course! We offer the possibility to start a 10 day trial or book a demo.
Our trial includes all of the features of Luzmo during 10 days, for no charge. You can switch to a paying plan at any time; your paying plan will pick up automatically when your trial ends.

PDF exports and automated email exports are not counted as an additional MAV or MAD. An export or email is always triggered by a user who in that case already is, or becomes, an Active Viewer.
A full breakdown of the difference between unbranding and whitelabeling is given in this article.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards via our payment partner. For annual plans, you can also request a digital or paper invoice to fulfil by bank transfer.
You can cancel a paid plan at any time. We recommend modifying your subscription at least a couple of days before the next scheduled payment. If you cancel or downgrade your plan, you won't be able to use the advanced features anymore. The remaining balance, pro-rated, will be used for later billing cycles or for new purchases. We do not offer refunds, however (as detailed in our Terms and Conditions).
An annual billing cycle starts on the day (x) of the activation of the license and ends on the x-1 day of the following year.
The fixed fee of a specific license will be billed upfront for the total length of the annual billing cycle.
If the variable fee exceeds the current plans limits, the variable fee will be billed monthly.
A prorated bill for the additional cost of the remaining time of the annual cycle will be issued immediately.
The variable fee will be counted based on the limits and fees of the then current license at the end of the month.
A monthly billing cycle starts on the day (x) of the activation of the license and ends on the x-1 day of the following month. For example, if your monthly billing cycle starts on 21st January, it ends on 20th February.
Billing of the fixed fee is billed upfront on the first day of the then current month cycle.
Billing of the variable fee occurs retroactively on the first day of the next month cycle on the same bill of the fixed fee of the next billing cycle.
The fixed license fee will be prorated depending on how much time you spent on each license.
The variable fee will be counted based on the limits and prices of the then current license at the end of the month cycle.
The cancellation will take place on the last day of the month cycle and your automatic renewal will be cancelled.
The variable fee will be counted based on the limits and prices of the then current license at the end of the month.
