Now that we've got an Integration, it's time to associate some dashboards with this Integration. Dashboards associated with a certain Integration are accessible for all SSO tokens granting access to that Integration. Depending on the access rights specified the SSO user can view, use or even edit the dashboard!

Keep in mind that in order to associate a dashboard with an Integration, you should be owner of the dashboard as well as the Integration.

After selecting the dashboards that should be associated with this Integration, you get an overview of the selected dashboards and can specify the access rights and slug for each of them!

  • The access right specifies what the user can do with the dashboard:

    • 'Can view' - gives an end user the right to only view a dashboard.
    • 'Can use' - next to viewing a dashboard, the end user is able to duplicate the dashboard and become the owner of the duplicated dashboard.
    • 'Can edit' - next to being able to view and duplicate a dashboard, the end user can edit this dashboard.
  • Each associated dashboard can be given a unique slug that can be used instead of the dashboardId to embed a certain dashboard in your frontend. This means that you can easily replace a dashboard with another one in Luzmo without having to change anything in your application's code! The gif below shows how you can easily replace a dashboard with another while keeping the same slug. If your frontend would contain code that refers to this slug, it will automatically embed the newly associated dashboard!

Keep in mind that a dashboard uses one or more datasets to power the charts which means that the next step is to also associate these datasets with the Integration. When associating the dataset to the Integration you can optionally also specify e.g. (parameterizable) filters that can be overridden when requesting a SSO token for your end user. More on this in the next article!
