Speedometer charts compare a single metric to a target. Ranges in the speedometer can be set to indicate progress towards the target, and a marker indicates current progress.

The speedometer can be found underneath the Gauges section.
There are two slots to add data to: Measure and Target.
Columns with data type ‘numeric’ work best for this slot.
The data added to the measure slot will be aggregated and displayed in the middle of the gauge.
By default, the measure shows the sum of the values for a numeric column or the count for a hierarchy column. Different aggregations can be set to execute different calculations, e.g. the average.
Before you add data to the target slot, the gauge will be generated automatically.
There are two ways to set the target:
Manual target: you can set a fixed target manually. Go to the chart setting, enable manual target toggle and add the target value. Note: this setting becomes available as soon as a measure has been set up on the chart.
Target slot: if you have a target column in your dataset you can add it to your chart directly. In the General settings of the chart you can choose to show the value, the percentage of the target or the difference to the target.
A huge advantage of the speedometer is that you can always see how your current value compares to the different target ranges, which are indicated by color.
There are two range types:
Relative to target: target ranges are based on percentages
Absolute values: target ranges are based on values
You can adjust the ranges in the chart settings, allowing you to choose how many ranges the gauge contains, their values and their colors.
Adjust the layout options, like arc size and choosing whether to show the values, labels and ticks to customize the speedometer to your look and feel.
Choose from one of our marker types, to adjust how to display your measure against the target ranges.
